Two of our current-favorite wines took home GOLD in the 2025 Sommeliers Choice Awards, and as former somms and wine buyers, we couldn’t be more excited!!
This win is super impactful to us. It’s a strong validation of the quality and intention we place on our wines. Each panel of the competition is led by a master sommelier, some of whom we know and respect.
– 2023 Grüner Veltliner, Handshake Acres Vineyard, Grand Valley, CO <— fall 2024 release
– 2023 Dry Riesling, 50% Estate and 50% Reeder Mesa Vineyard, CO <— we haven’t even released this one yet!
The judging panel of the Sommeliers Choice Awards consists entirely of top sommeliers, master sommeliers, wine directors, and on-premise buyers at U.S. restaurants, bars, pubs, and clubs.
The goal of the Sommeliers Choice Awards is simple — to provide on-premise buyers, beverage directors, and somms a valuable benchmark for understanding which wines would make a compelling addition to a wine list.
And being on top lists within Colorado’s fine-dining scene remains important to us.
